Topology has not been edited since the last build or clean. These data show the extents of zoning districts in the City of Hickory, North Carolina Zoning attribute codes are the zoning designation for the zoning district. The tags were reviewed by City of Hickory Planning Department staff and are complete at the time of mapping. Zoning designations are subject to change by the planning process. Zoning boundary features were placed using GIS land and infrastructure features. In places not contiguous with these features lines were placed at approximate locations of property boundaries. The original zoning dataset was not created from the City parcel layer. During updates to the zoning layer, evey attempt is made to correct the zoning layer to the corresponding properties using the City of Hickory's tax parcel GIS dataset.
